UHCC provides quality care for all ages included are Mentally ill,
Developmentally Disabled, Autism and those recuperating from illness
or injury.  We offer flexible schedules, including days, evenings,

Background and Qualifications

The principals of Unique Home Care and Companionship Services, Inc.
(UHCC) have been providing mental health services for those with
special needs for several years. We have successfully provides a
comprehensive array of intensive behavioral and personal care services
for adults and youths with a variety of significant disabilities. We are
approved Medicaid provider and accepts most private insurances.     
UHCC provide therapeutic services including intensive in home
behavioral supports for Children of all ages. The agency has experience
serving youths/children with challenging behaviors including are
noncompliance to verbal/written directions, tantrums, elopement,
physical/verbal aggression, self-injurious behaviors, alcohol or drug
dependencies, and dual diagnosis youths including intensive in home
behavioral support as well as group and individual counseling.  
IIH/ISS Clinical Intervention

Psycho-education, individual and family counseling, negotiation and
conflict Resolution skill training, effective coping skills, healthy limit
setting, stress management, self-care, developing or building on
skills that would enhance self- fulfillment, self-determination.

IIH programUHCC offers a wide variety of services, from intensive
and therapeutic services for children with extreme challenging
behavioral issues.

We follow the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) model for
Services:    ABA Services for your child begins with an assessment.
Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) (BSP).

We provide 1:1 ABA therapy. Our clinical staff, led by a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will provide a full assessment
of your child upon referral. An individual treatment plan based on
the assessment of your child will be made by the BCBA.A trained
therapist will come to your home each week and provide
home-based ABA therapy for your child using techniques such as
discrete trial instruction, verbal behavior, fluency-based instruction
and incidental teaching. The BCBA will also have bi-weekly
meeting to provide parent training and treatment planning.

ISS - Individual Support Services for Youths under age 21 with
challenging behaviors and developmental disability.  Develop - ADL
skills
